Time flies and we are nearing the end of the semester =P Yes exams are just around the corner, but it also means that good things are coming too =P

As we are heading towards the end of the month, here's the highlight for the month of october. On 07/10/12, the VM crew headed to Siloso beach and had a great day of fun and bonding =P (Thanks logs for the planning and execution of the event).
I bet no one will forget the water bombs, throwing people into the sea, spinning in darkness and wacked by water bombs. Oh wait, how can we forget Xian Zhang's ultimate performance in the poison ball game where he took everyone out of the game ? haha and the reward for being the last man standing is to be the first person to be thrown into the sea =P
What's next? Oh James was coming from a distance and yes, since everyone requested it, James was dropped into the sea as well =P
While our dedicated logs went to collect the lunch for everyone, we had the inter-VM beach captain ball games. A big thanks for all the VM alumni who joined us =P
After lunch, Vmers were on a photo hunt at Sentosa island.. exploring places we wouldnt have go otherwise.. taking pictures and yes with tourist too -P
The great day ended with a nice dinner at astons =P Lots of chit chatting and bonding =P
At a personal note, thank you everyone for your participation in the event. Also, I would like to take the opportunity to show my appreciation to the effort everyone is putting in. In particular Shu Min and Wei Jie who has really put in a lot of effort in organizing the events =P Cheers everyone !!

about us
NTU WSC Volunteer Management
Welfare Services Club is a non-academic constituent club in NTU which provide an umbrella of voluntary activities and social work.
We consists of 3 committees, namely Regular Service Projects (RSPs), Special Projects (SPs), and Supporting Committees (SCs). Volunteer Management (VM) is currently one of the Special Projects under WSC.
Volunteer Management organizes events to expose the students and staff population of NTU, who are not regular volunteers, to volunteering.
Every year, we will source for different beneficiaries which are those that we are not regularly helping out in. The events we organize differ yearly ranging from fund raisers to outings except for our annual 3 day camp for underprivileged children, Kids' World, in December.
Our events range from 1 day to 3 days for the beneficiaries and for every event we plan, we would need volunteers. Hence, this provides an avenue for students and staff who are unfamiliar with or are unable to volunteer regularly to be able to learn more about volunteering.
VM serves to act as a bridge which links the beneficiaries to a larger population and to potential regular volunteers.
We hope more volunteers like YOU will join our BIG family! :)
